Job Description

  • The candidate will comply with the Health and Safety issues that need to be addressed and carry out risk assessments as required.
  • Will have sole responsibility for overseeing the cleaning and ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the cleaning standards, methods and specification and to take appropriate action where necessary.
  • Work with the direction of the Headteacher and ensure the implementation and compliance with appropriate Codes of Practice and health and safety legislation throughout the school.
  • Will be responsible for queries relating to the security of the premises and grounds, and where appropriate refer to the Headteacher.
  • To be responsible for the processing and management of school lettings.
  • Asset Management and Administrative duties.

The Successful Applicant

  • Extensive Facilities Management experience.
  • Solid background in maintenance and repair.
  • Must have a thorough Health and Safety knowledge.
  • Extensive Soft Services experience, especially cleaning.
  • Knowledge about Lettings and Asset Management.
