Job Description

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Interim Finance Manager - E-commerce will be responsible for:

  • Management and development of the London Finance team (6 x members of staff)
  • Ownership and production of compliance calendar
  • Ownership and financial management of US entities
  • Owner of management accounts on a monthly basis to Group reporting deadlines including full variance analysis
  • Owner of MI packs including any commentary
  • Review of monthly accruals, prepayments, accrued income and deferred income etc
  • Monitor, manage and analyse marketing spend in conjunction with FP&A and Marketing department
  • Review actual weekly cash flow and production of forecasted cash flow on an ongoing basis
  • Reviewing sales and purchase invoices to ensure the correct cost account, department, VAT treatment
  • Input on the audit, including liaising with auditors, review of financial statements, review of consolidation
  • Liaising with Irish Finance and UK Billing teams
  • Point of contact for all finance queries from business
  • Any ad hoc business requests

The Successful Applicant

As the Interim Finance Manager - E-commerce, you will have:

  • Relevant ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent accountancy qualification with post-qualification experience
  • IFRS knowledge and expertise, ideally with multiple entity organisations and US reporting exposure
  • Demonstrated management of a finance team - driving efficiency and improvement
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to engage with several stakeholders, whilst driving tight deadlines in the finance team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and track record of process improvements
