About Our Client

My client are a niche financial services organisation, based in the affluent area of Epsom - just off the A3, with great commuter links from the surrounding Surrey/South London areas.

Job Description

Principal tasks: To be undertaken in compliance at all times with laid down policies, procedures and delegated authorities, relevant FSA rules, evidential provisions and associated guidance:

(A) Manage the changes required to a large number of literature items in support of the evolution of the brand into the Group's lead brand on 1st December 2016

(B) Assess the amendments required; write new copy where necessary; brief design agencies; thoroughly check artwork proofs; submit items for approval by the relevant departments; co-ordinate external printing where required; and arrane distribution

(C) Ensure brand and tone of voice guidelines, and all relevant approval and budgetary processes and procedures, are strictly adhered to

(D) Maintain comprehensive and accurate logs and plans in relation to the work undertaken and scheduled

(E) Provide regular progress reports to the Marketing Services Manager and Head of Marketing

(F) Maintain a strong working relationship and collaborate with relevant stakeholders across the business (for example Project Managers, Product Development, Compliance, Loans Underwriting, Intermediary Sales, New Business and Customer Service) to ensure shared ownership for the successful delivery of required project outcomes

(G) Be proactive in liaising with and maintaining relationships with our external suppliers (multiple design agencies and a printing firm)

(H) Maintain accurate cost control in relation to design work and printing

(I) Action general marketing tasks or projects that are assigned by the Marketing Services Manager or her line superiors

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will need to be immediately available and possess the following attributes and skills:

At least 5 GCSEs grade A - C (minimum C grade in both Maths & English)

Educated to A Level or equivalent

Qualified to degree level

Extensive experience of collateral production

3+ years' experience at Marketing Executive level or equivalent

Background in financial services sector

Experience of working within a highly regulated industry

Experience of working with and briefing multiple external suppliers and internal resources

Ability to write clearly and concisely, following prescribed brand and tone of voice guidelines

Ability to proof-read to an exceptional standard

Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing pressures (balancing the requirements and deadlines of multiple tasks and stakeholders)
