My client are a globally recognised industrial business based in Weybridge, with great commuter links from surrounding Surrey/Berkshire areas.

Job Description

Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the role holder will support the marketing and campaign strategy by planning, developing and executing a range of multi-channel marketing programmes in order to promote our products and services, position the organisation positively with customers, and support the overall business objectives.

The role holder will have responsibility for a budget of up to £450,000 split across specific projects.

Corporate hospitality

  • Provide dedicated support in booking and supporting regional hospitality events
  • Manage the Football Season Tickets budget and bookings
  • Liaise with sales teams across the UK to allocate advance tickets and assign cup match tickets as they become available

Advertising and Media

  • Develop media plan for financial year, liaising with the media buying agency.
  • Develop creative executions for advertising using internal and external design resources
  • Manage production and delivery of artwork to all media outlets
  • Undertake customer insight surveys on media preferences.

PR and Social Media

  • Develop and implement the strategic external communicaitons plan
  • Manager PR and social media monitoring and reporting

Web and Digitial Media

  • Manage content for digital magazines using interactive digital magazine software e.g. Page Tiger
  • Keep extranet up to date with product and campaign information
  • Keep the website up to date using Tridon and Adobe Experience Manager.

Incentive campaigns:

  • Contribute to planning, development and execution of incentive trips and associated communications campaigns.
  • Liaise with agencies, venues and travel providers to manage logistics, hospitality and ground programmes.

DENV Seminars:

  • Plan, and deliver attendance at 6-8 seminar events throughout the year
  • Liaise with teams to share and utilise digital/marketing assets and to confirm the allocation of places
  • Liaise with sales teams to coordinate and confirm customer attendance at events and to manage logistics

Event management:

  • Develop and manage event programmes and associated marketing campaigns.
  • Liaise with senior management team to agree venue, format, event logistics, theme.
  • Secure and book suitable venues/locations for company events.
  • Prepare delegates packs, papers and agenda for all events and distribute.
  • Co-ordinate pre-event and on-site communication with attendees.
  • Attend managed events and oversee all operations and represent as the key liaison for all visitors.
  • Manage lead generation, tracking and reporting process
  • Marketing campaigns and communications projects including the organisation of and participation in trade shows, events, communication programmes, direct mail and digital initiatives, collateral and promotions.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the UK's marketing calendar incorporating trade campaigns and events and promotional schedules.
  • Maintain project budgets
  • Organise local promotions and events, preparing supporting materials, invitations, venue bookings etc.
  • Coordinate with wider marketing team ensuring that all communications are correctly targeted and messaging is consistent.

The Successful Applicant

The udealudeal candidate must be immediately available. In addition, we are looking for the following candidate attributes.

  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a business to business marketing role is essential.
  • Experience of channel marketing, event organisation, product marketing, customer loyalty/engagement programmes, direct and digital marketing is essential
  • Experience of working within a technical product sector would be preferable
  • Competence in marketing software packages for event management , data collection and CRMCRM e.g. DotmailerDotmailer email marketing systems, FormstackFormstack, SAP/Salesforce
  • SalesforceAbility to manage relationships and project costings from external agencies and suppliers e.g. printers, designers, digital suppliers, event organisers, venues, marketing agencies
  • Strong financial planning/budget management skills.
  • Understanding of market trends and cli chclients'anging needs.
  • A strong eye for detail to ensure communications are accurate, relevant and without errors.
