Job Description

  1. Directly lead tender processes and negotiations (through cross functional teams) as required to ensure cost control, value for money and risk management including development of scope, supplier selection, commercial negotiations and contract execution
  2. Responsible for supplier relationship management, including continuously driving improved performance and resolving complex issues and disputes
  3. Accountable for analysis, monitoring and reporting on procurement expenditure, applying appropriate competitive cost and process benchmarks, financial analysis and risk management
  4. Provide support and project management for critical and strategic spend
  5. Provide support to other managers, acting as an independent source in supplier management and service level issues

The Successful Applicant

  • Demonstrable experience in supplier management
  • Strong networker, ability to gain the confidence of external and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent communicator
  • IT literate

What's on Offer

6 Month contract.

£230-265 per day.
