Job Description

An Interim Recruitment Officer is required for a busy HR Department within a Professional Services organisation based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Recruiting experienced hires across a number of departments
* Drafting job specifications for relevant Partner / Manager approval.
* Contacting recruitment agents and posting jobs to job boards.
* Negotiating rates and terms of business with recruitment agencies
* Maintaining adverts on Internet/Intranet site.
* Coordinating interviews with relevant Partners and Manager.
* Interviewing potential hires across all offices.
* Administering tests to candidates where required
* Maintaining the vacancy spreadsheet.
* Updating monthly reports with recruitment updates.
* Drafting offer letters and contracts, alongside the HR Administrator
* Assisting with employee induction
* Supporting the rest of the HR Team with ad-hoc matters

The Successful Applicant

Essential Experience

* Minimum of 3 years previous internal recruitment experience within a Professional Services environment - including an accountancy practice
* Experience of hiring at a senior level
* Experience of liaising with senior stakeholders
* Ability to work autonomously
* Ability to portray credibility and knowledge of the firm and the roles to be filled
* Basic knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
* Ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels
* Excellent organisation and time management skills
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with employees at all levels
* Able to work confidentially at all times
* Able to demonstrate a commercial awareness and share the firm's desire to help our clients succeed

Desirable Experience

* Graduate and with 3 good A Level grades A-C
* Excellent IT skills
