This role is based in their offices in Staines.

Job Description

As Intermediary Marketing Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that use all appropriate channels in order to meet specified business objectives focused on intermediaries.
  • Manage marketing activity on time and to budget
  • To build positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure campaign effectiveness is both maximised and evaluated.
  • Make recommendations for optimisation of campaigns
  • Day to day relationships with external agencies including but not limited to design, research, marketing communications, event management, print and logistics
  • Work alongside the Product and Sales teams in order to plan and deliver new product launches as and when appropriate
  • Support sponsorship and exhibition promotional requirements, working with the Sales team
  • Provide sales presentations and point of sale materials (including branded promotional items) for the Sales team
  • Ensure all activity meets legislative requirements and adheres to the organisations sign off procedures
  • Ensure all activity reflects the brand proposition and guidelines for clear, consistent communications
  • Ensure sensitive and confidential data is managed appropriately at all times, encrypted and password protected as directed by policies
  • Work alongside the digital marketing manager to develop the intermediary website and social media activity.
  • Assist the HR team in the creation of internal communications via intranet etc.

The Successful Applicant

To be suitable for the Intermediary Marketing Manager role you will need:

  • A broad skill set across written content creation, including marketing material, emails, letters and scripts for conference speeches, sales presentations and videos.
  • You must be able to create compelling messages that attract the attention, respect and business of mortgage intermediaries whose customers fit the organisations target profiles.
  • Several years' experience of writing marketing material for a mortgage intermediary audience is essential for this role. Knowledge of the various marketing tools used across digital and print channels would also be useful.
  • This role requires excellent project management and influencing skills, with a deep understanding of how marketing adds value to a business, enabling the role holder to promote their work within the organisation to ensure understanding and support from the whole company, especially the Sales team.
  • Candidates for this role will be expected to hold - or be studying for - the Chartered Institute of Marketing's Diploma or equivalent. While not essential, ideally candidates will be educated to degree level, with a 2:1 honours degree.
