About Our Client

Established more than 70 years ago, my client is a manufacturer of highly technical, niche tools designed for a variety of industries. The tools are highly adaptable and have infinite capabilities to be modified on a bespoke basis to suit the customer.

Having recently worked on some high-profile projects, they are looking for an outside-the-box thinker to join the team and identify new opportunities for tools amongst a wide range of manufacturing markets.

Job Description

As well as identifying new business opportunities, a large part of this role will see you expanding my client's e-marketing presence. Your day to day tasks will include:

  • Expanding website sales through the development of their e-commerce platform
  • Sourcing new target markets for my client's products
  • Contacting existing customers to establish more potential business opportunities
  • Increasing brand awareness using social media
  • Arranging for potential customers to visit the company's manufacturing facilities
  • Liaising with the Technical team to establish whether a project is viable

The Successful Applicant

The products my client produces are highly technical in nature and therefore this role will therefore require someone with a technical aptitude. The successful applicant will possess the following criteria:

  • Engineering degree or qualification
  • Experience selling highly technical products
  • Living in Nottinghamshire (or close by)
  • Experience of e-marketing or optimising sales through a company website
  • Strategic approach to sales
  • Proactive and thinks outside-the-box
