My client are a leading accountancy firm.

Job Description

The Internal Communications Manager will manage and deliver the internal communications strategy/plan and work closely with the Communications Director to continually evolve the firm's internal communications in the UK.

You will create, proof and edit copy for a wide range of internal communication channels and audiences - including emails, intranet content, presentations, newsletters, business bulletins - to engage the teams and build a strong communication network. You will manage and own the intranet homepage, ensuring all content is up to date and relevant. You will support specific communication initiatives for the senior partner (e.g. annual roadshow). You will work closely with regional leaders and local office partners to manage local engagement with the firm's vision, strategy and initiatives. You will prepare templates and content for local/regional use as needed (local town hall meetings, newsletters, bulletins). You will work with HR to promote reward and recognition (including annual event) and help develop the employer brand. You will provide guidance and advice to internal clients on the development and execution of internal campaigns/initiatives including EVP, CSR, business transformation and other projects. You will identify and support the development of a network of communication champions that will act as local representatives for internal communication activity. You will measure and report on the impact of internal communications on a project and ongoing basis and make recommendations for targets and further improvements. You will manage relationships with internal stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have a proven track record with extensive experience in Internal Communications, some of which has been within a partnership environment / professional services. You will have outstanding verbal and written skills with a desire to seek out news and create content. You will have excellent attention to detail and strong technical skills - experienced in intranet platforms, broadcast communications, building newsletters, video production etc, preferably including Sharepoint, 0ffice365, dotmailer, Adobe Pro. You will have proven ability to develop strong relationships with a diverse range of geographically dispersed stakeholders. You will have a good understanding of internal communication processes and best practice - previous experience in journalism/PR/corporate communications/social media/event management an advantage.
