Job Description

Internal Sales Co-ordinator will be required to complete all quotations from RFQ through to customer quote preparation:

  • Setting up quote files
  • Completion of master quote data
  • Liaise with UK engineering team
  • Liaise with UK and SK purchasing teams
  • Liaise with Far East toolmakers if required
  • Present the completed cost calculations to the UK or SK sales team
  • Co-ordinate internal RFQ review meetings using Skype with UK & SK sales team
  • Compile customer quote / cost breakdown sheet
  • Co-ordinate transition from RFQ to NPI stage:
  • Ensure smooth handover of all information and documentation to NPI team
  • Participate in NPI meetings
  • Assist NPI manager in compiling project costing data
  • Assist NPI manager in compiling customer timing plans
  • Prepare monthly management information for review at board meetings
  • Some travel will be required to Slovakia on an occasional basis
  • Work closely with the sales teams in UK and SK to support them when not in the office

The Successful Applicant

The Internal Sales Coordinator ideal skill set would be :-

  • Confident and positive person
  • Excellent communicator who works well with a wide cross section of people
  • Shows good attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the sales process
  • Basic engineering knowledge useful but not essential
  • Commercial experience / qualifications preferred
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Formula based spread sheets
  • Compiling PowerPoint presentations
  • Preparing management reports
  • Some use of ERP/MRP systems would be beneficial
  • Full driving license
  • Foreign language skills useful but not essential - French, German, Slovak, Czech etc
