Job Description

Accountabilities for International Customer Marketing Manager

  1. Ensuring Market Ready / Launch Planning
  2. Customer Planning
  3. Customer Engagement
  4. Fulfill other duties as required
  • Own the implementation of the 'Excellence in Execution' programme, which facilitates the 'How We Plan', 'Execute & Inspire' tools for all launches.
  • Work with Group Commercial teams in the development of templates, consistent assets to be delivered for all launches
  • Work with markets to define and embed Omni channel "excellence in execution" framework for every key launch
  • Ensure that "How We Execute" guidelines are always relevant/current
  • Work with central & market teams to share best practice on execution with quantifiable benefits
  • Ensure promotional asset guidelines are implemented, tracked and measured
  • Using the "How We Plan" program, participate in the collation and development of:
  • Own the Customer Opportunity Identifier system for the international markets with GfK, our external insight provider, and NPD data, in order to ensure account managers have access to information to help them make informed decisions.
  • Global to local category planning models across all defined Dyson categories
  • Launch Planning for NPD across all defined Dyson categories
  • Using the "How We Inspire" Programme:
  • Implement and update current best practice for customer engagement strategy in Dyson markets e.g. T2T
  • Develop 6 monthly sell in programs using the "Sneak Peak", "Coming Soon", "Imminent Launch" structure.
  • Ensure market-ready, compelling and value-creating selling stories applicable across Dyson markets
  • Facilitate international T2T programme for customer meetings in Malmesbury and in major markets
  • Pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role.
  • Fix things that you can see need fixing.
  • Identify problems and find solutions.

The Successful Applicant

Skills of International Customer Marketing Manager

  • Senior customer marketing experience for a high profile brand working in markets (essential) and globally (desirable)
  • Proven delivery of targets, contributed to a high performing sales team
  • Exposed to senior level customer / supplier negotiations
  • Level of financial acumen and commercial awareness
  • Expert knowledge of the Retail industry, either with an electrical manufacturer or other across multiple geographical markets
  • Strategic planning capability
  • High level of communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent relationship builder & influencing skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Excellent personal and business presentation skills
  • Strong team player capable of motivating teams across a matrix structure and across multiple markets
