Job Description

A unique opportunity has arisen for an International Government & Regulatory Engagement Advisor with a major financial services business. You will:

  • Support the organisation's global market access lobbying strategy in conjunction with overseas offices and other relevant departments and teams.
  • Support the development of and maintain intelligence and insight resources to support organisation's strategic engagement with government and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Help co-ordinate delivery of regulatory communications strategy to the organisation's overseas network and Corporation;
  • Coordinate/take part in departmental/cross-departmental projects as required

The Successful Applicant

You will have:

  • An existing network of UK Government contacts and the ability to build upon such a network quickly, or evidence of engagement with UK/foreign governments.
  • Experience of working in close partnership with regulators, Whitehall, or the international diplomatic corps.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication, negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with little supervision or as part of a professional team. Ability to understand and participate in complex projects and processes.
  • Experience advising and briefing senior management or similar internal stakeholders on a range of subjects
