Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a two International Regulatory Affairs Advisor (North America) & (Asia) with a financial services business. The role entails:

  • International Regulatory Relations: Maintain and support the organisation's relationships and credibility with international regulators and support international representatives in their communications with regulators. Support the development of organisation's regulatory messages and media.
  • Regulatory Complaints and Non-compliance issues: Support the International Regulatory Risk team to manage organisation's response to problems arising from non-compliance and breaches of international regulations, protecting organisation's Brand and licences, and mitigating the threat of financial loss or sanctions.
  • Key stakeholder relationship management: support the management of relationships between IRA and key stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, market associations and participants, key service-providers, international offices and Corporation departments.
  • Develop New Licences/trading rights: support regulatory aspects and negotiations for new licence acquisition in support of the organisation's Global Market Access priorities and in response to internal or external business and regulatory issues. Provide regulatory input and expertise to support the development of global market access strategies and models

The Successful Applicant

You will have:

  • Knowledge of international regulatory environment, regimes and requirements ideally in insurance or broader financial services
  • Experience of stakeholder management
  • Experience working on complex projects and initiatives
  • Experience in legislative/regulatory analysis
  • Experience in communicating complex information to diverse stakeholders

What's on Offer

£45,000 - £65,000 pa DOE plus excellent benefits
