About Our Client
Our client is a Consumer Hardware business with a very interesting business model - one that is performing incredibly well! They have quadrupled the size of the business in the last 4 years, and are still going strong!
What does this mean? Simply put, the Supply Chain needs to keep up! Inventory is a key focus, so they are creating a new role of Inventory Manager to come in and drive improvements in stock level, stock turn and planning.
The Inventory Manager will be based in East London and will be a critical part of the Supply Chain function. What will you be doing? Owning all inventory processes! From the moment the products hit the warehouses, you will be responsible for making sure they have enough product to fulfil customer orders, while at the same time keeping a sharp eye on inventory level and cash flow. You will manage this while also factoring in other factors too - from lead times to sales trends and customer demand.

What skills will you need to succeed?
Firstly, you will understand Inventory Management inside out. You will understand how to balance availability with cash flow, how to plan and prepare for future sales, and how to react and what to do when issues occur.
Secondly, you will get the pressures involved in a fast-growing SME business, and the impact that quick growth can have on a Supply Chain.
Thirdly, you will have the personal credibility and stakeholder management skills to play a crucial role in the business, working with wider teams to ensure that inventory planning is at the forefront every day.
What's on Offer
The Inventory Manager will earn £45k-£50k and will be based in the office in East London.
