Job Description

As part of the Business Analysis Manager role your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Build a best in class Business Analysis capability focused on adding business value and supporting St Andrew's Healthcare through a significant period of transformation
  • Coach, manage and mentor a team of Business Analysts, ensuring best practices and processes are adhered to.
  • Accountable for the maintenance and continuous improvement of St Andrew's Business Analysis approach and methodologies.
  • Work with and influence St Andrew's Healthcare's Change Board and Programme/Project teams to ensure the business change and IT is being delivered.
  • Operate in both a management and delivery capacity, working on business critical projects
  • Complete the end to end engagement with Programmes and Projects, taking accountability for the following stages that include: business analysis resource planning, oversight of problem statement creation, requirements gathering, business case submission, project creation, process engineering, testing, benefits realisation and post implementation reviews.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clinical staff in order to take accurate and detailed requirements whilst understanding the future pipeline of work, always ensuring that the design integrity is maintained
  • Create continuous development plans and carry out appraisals for individual team members in order to progress the teams capability.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in your application for the Business Analysis Manager position you will:

  • Be able to demonstrate a strong track record managing and developing teams of Business Analysts within either greenfield or team turnaround situations
  • Have demonstrable experience of delivering business change and IT projects on an end to end basis.
  • Be emotionally intelligent with the ability to use innovative and creative methods in order to attain pertinent information from all stakeholders
  • Demonstrate the ability to influence senior decision makers in shaping a programme of change.
  • Have strong commercial and financial acumen in order to put together robust business cases.
  • Demonstrate a high attention to detail and the ability to implement and enforce best practice within teams.
  • Hold an ISEB or other Business Analysis qualification
