About Our Client

Our retained client, a leading and growing SME facilities management organisation require an IT Manager to join the team based in Liverpool.

Job Description

Due to expansion and the importance the systems play in the business - we are looking to recruit an IT Manager with current practical experience of supporting a Windows based environment. This role will be a first 'in house' employed IT role taking primary responsibility for the Systems (Principally CRM and Accounting) in a growing SME organisation.

You will liaise with a 3rd party Managed Services provider supporting the infrastructure and new hardware including 4 offices from Scotland to London with approximately 50 end users.

You will be expected to make recommendations on IT systems in place, to specify and over see changes to systems, make recommendations for the systems going forward and any transition arrangements, the intent being to ensure the systems are fit for the business and include appropriate functionality. The role holder will also need to liaise with internal as well as external stakeholders and make recommendations regarding fit with user processes, training, and support.

You will need to have up to date technical skills and be able to offer options on systems to aid management in achieving the objectives for business growth and direction.

The Successful Applicant

As the IT Manager, you will be an excellent communicator who can build relationships across the business. You will be able to prioritise multiple demands whilst setting clear expectations.

Required technical skills include:

  • Running CRM and Accounting Systems (Quickbooks)
  • Setting up and using relevant system monitoring tools
  • Windows Server 2008/2012
  • Office 365 / O365

Required Managerial skills include:

  • Effective Time Management
  • Reporting to Management
  • Managing 3rd party supplier relationships
  • Project management

As with any managerial level position these hands on technical skills must be backed up with experience gained in a similar role.

What's on Offer

Salary up to £50,000 dependent on experience with a benefits package.
