Job Description

As an IT Procurement Lead you will be responsible for leading a small team to manage a global spend of around £50M through category management.

You will take full accountability for developing agreements that leverage our clients scale in the marketplace and allowing their sub divisions to self-serve from preferred suppliers. You will receive both internal and external recognition as an expert in your field and take specific responsibility for the following:

  • Driving the sourcing process,
  • Supplier risk management
  • Collaboration with your core stakeholders and management team to develop the procurement strategy for the global IT spend

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this position you will possess a minimum of 5 year's procurement experience within the IT category. A CIPS qualified individual, it is essential that you can demonstrate you ability to deliver significant cost savings in a high volume low margin environment and are a highly skilled in supplier relationship management.

In addition, it is essential that you can clearly demonstrate your capabilities to drive processes, procedures and policies and comfortably adapt your style to teach, coach, or delegate, as appropriate.
