My client is currently in a period of rapid expansion and are looking to bring in the right IT Project Manager / Coordinator - Digital to work with some of its biggest clients.

Job Description

The successful IT Project Manager / Coordinator - Digital will be expected to deliver on the following:

  • Managing Projects and associated work-streams (from planning to delivery) by driving tasks forward to meet planned deadlines and /or Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Delivering complex projects for largest global brands through outstanding project management, internal and external communication and customer service
  • Raising the profile of the organisation as a global content provider, by delivering outstanding projects on time and within budget while exceeding client expectations
  • Leading and inspiring a virtual team within the organisation to ensure the right people are doing the right things for the customer
  • Setting-up, delivering and being accountable for all communication related to projects and ensuring that client is kept up to date with progress on delivery
  • Pro-actively inventing ways to delight the customer to create devotion and, in the rare event that things go wrong, being reactive and creative in putting things right
  • Maintaining an in-depth, semi-technical understanding of our solutions in order to create a position of leadership within the Brand community
  • Developing a deep understanding of clients' ROI goals, product / service rhythm, marketing strategy and demographics
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement and work with the virtual team
  • Ensuring fiscal responsibility by proactively monitoring budgets and reviewing all contracts and invoices for projects assigned to you

The Successful Applicant

Desired Skills and Experience for the IT Project Manager / Coordinator - Digital:

  • At least 2-3 years of IT project management / coordination experience - experience with SAAS is beneficial.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects throughout the full project lifecycle under concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies such as Prince 2, PMP, Agile, Waterfall. Ability to manage project uncertainty and risks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and openness to providing feedback to help improve the business.
  • Proactive, "can-do", self-starter attitude, able to work on own initiative.
  • The ideal candidate will have a background in digital or technology and have experience managing projects within the online channel.
  • A demonstrable passion for technology and its use in driving revenue, client satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Welcomes and drives change, an energetic and strong leader.
  • Strong self-discipline and time management skills.

Proven ability to:

  • Deliver variable scale projects on time and within budget.
  • Manage projects with limited face to face interaction with the client.
  • Balance revenue, client satisfaction and operational responsibilities while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and proactively across multiple internal and client stakeholders.

Education, Qualifications & key words:

  • English language fluency, both written and oral, is essential. Additional European languages are an advantage but not essential.
  • Demonstrable Experience in Project Management
  • Preferably, a minimum 2 years of project management in digital marketing, SAAS or online advertising.
  • Marketing functional, technical and operational knowledge is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office tools.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
