Job Description

IT Project Leader / Senior IT Project Manager

IT Project Manager role:

Responsible for the definition, documentation and satisfactory completion of the ongoing IT programme of work, and identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of individual projects and the programme as a whole.

Key skills IT Project Leader:

  • Background in legal services / professional services.
  • Demonstrated project management / project planning skills with a good understanding of the project life cycle
  • Excellent knowledge of development methodologies.
  • Ability to consider issues and projects objectively and from a lateral perspective.
  • A desire to embrace and encourage the use of new technology.
  • Ability to find solutions to business problems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and a good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in an environment with changing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and good presentation skills.
  • Friendly, flexible, helpful & can-do attitude and a professional manner.
  • Accredited in APM, PMI or Prince2.
  • A legal sector background would be an advantage.
  • Experience of managing projects within an environment that is subject ISO
