Job Description

As part of the IT Service Manager role your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Manage an IT outsourced provider responsible for delivering services around areas such as; Helpdesk, Service Desk, Data Centre, Systems, Networks and IT Security.
  • Review St Andrew's Healthcare's IT service landscape, weighing up sourcing options.
  • Create the IT service strategy for St Andrew's Healthcare for the next 1-5 years.
  • Implement robust ITIL processes with the initial focus on Demand, Problem, Incident and Transition management.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders at St Andrew's Healthcare to understand service needs and priorities.
  • Set in place measures to reflect and monitor service and customer satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in your application for the IT Service Manager role you will:

  • Have a strong background in IT service management, developed from technical experience.
  • Demonstrate experience of successfully managing third party partners.
  • Have implemented, enforced and matured robust ITIL processes within service environments.
  • Have a good all round knowledge of ITIL processes, with experience of implementation and management
  • Be able to demonstrate creating IT service strategies and ideally having presided over periods of IT service change.
  • Be able to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ideally be ITILv3 certified
