Job Description

The successful IT Support Analyst will be responsible for providing 1st & 2nd line support to the organisations employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing 1st support with some exposure to 2nd line support
  • Provide support via phone, email & face to face
  • Provide support to all infrastructure - hardware, software, networks
  • Adhere to incident management processes - use internal software to raise, log & resolve
  • Identify the root cause of repeat issues, identify and implement fixes.
  • Escalate to 3rd line as appropriate
  • Resolve issues in line with KPI agreed service delivery SLA's
  • Provide & develop support documentation & communicate to colleges to provide sharing of knowledge, training and up skilling.
  • Perform hardware & software installations and updates on-site & at remote offices as needed either in person, remotely or through a 3rd party depending on situation
  • Perform hardware maintenance - builds, upgrades and repairs.
  • Join the on call rota - separate allowance provided
  • Manage the asset management database ensuring accuracy.
  • Travelling to remote sites as required - occasional travel required

The Successful Applicant

The person

  • A minimum of 1 year of technical support experience at 1st line level
  • Some exposure to 2nd line support
  • Knowledge of ITIL and Service Desk operations.
  • Experience of supporting infrastructure
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications in an Office365 environment.
  • Knowledge of Windows environments & AD
