About Our Client

Our client are an e-learning and one on one business coaching/consulting platform for entrepreneurs set up by three serial entrepreneur founders in Italy. The parent company has been operating this platform and business consulting/business coaching service very successfully for over five years.

In Italy, the company is a market leader and in the top two of e-learning and business consulting/coaching.

With it's proven track record in the Italian market, they have turned around the business performance of multiple companies with their methodology and one on one coaching/consulting service, the plan is to set up the UK operations in 2016 with a Partner/Country Manager.

Job Description

The Partner/Country Manager in the UK will be tasked with tailoring the existing business infrastructure and e-learning platform for the UK market in order to launch it in the UK.

The target audience are business owners who are in need proven business methodologies to improve the business performance of their business in profits, sales, conversion and/or expansion and innovation.

The Country Manager will develop the strategy and implement it in the UK market and be responsible for KPI's and EBITDA of the company.

He/she will work together with the Italian parent company to implement lead generation through online and social media marketing and sales funnels to create brand awareness and interest for this new start up in the UK, amongst others through the Company Check Up with a business coach.

He/she will also develop a network of referral partners such as with accounting firms who will work on a commission basis.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in

  • General management with direct P&L responsibility for a B2B education, business coaching/consulting or e-learning platform with a revenue of minimal £1 million pounds per annum;
  • Having worked or sold into the UK market for at least four years and understand the cultural differences and nuances to enable the company to optimise the UK launch and to adapt where needed the brand positioning and communication for the UK B2B market;
  • Being able to work autonomously and productively in a start-up grassroots environment while liaising with the UK director(s) and Italian Head Office and support functions (marketing and IT);
  • Be able to define and deliver key deliverables against time lines and budgets in a new market with a market entry strategy whilst continuously reviewing performance against targets with a strong results focus;
  • Define the market entry strategy and business plan for the UK launch and after approval implement strategy in conjunction with the support functions at the Italian head office;
  • Manage performance of a small team of sales agents/business coaches working with the prospects and JV partners in the UK market;
  • Was an entrepreneur him/herself in their own profitable venture with an understanding of the added value for entrepreneurs/businesses to have a knowledgeable business coach as sparring partner.

For the right entrepreneurial candidate, there is the possibility to become an equity partner in the company when targets are hit at the annual performance review. Also, candidates who have an affinity and interest in being a business consultant/coach will be able to take on these additional responsibilities in the company.

What's on Offer

  • Up to £60,000 on the base.
  • OTE £40,000 uncapped.
  • Possibility to become a partner in the company.
