About Our Client

My client are global leading bank.

Job Description

Keeping the internal role vacancies up to date on the HR Information Point.

Sourcing and recording of CVs for the Departments supported.

Arranging interviews for line and attending when appropriate supported.

Generating offer letters and creating the Bank's New Starter welcome packs.

Conducting the vetting process of future employees of the Bank. Creating the new joiner/personnel files.

Controlling Probationary periods, confirmations and extensions.

Supporting absence management, facilitating referrals to Occupational Health and advising line managers on appropriate courses of action depending on the circumstances.

Supporting temp selection, interviewing and on-boarding of new joiners.

Managing work experience and 48 week placements.

Supporting the HRBP on employee relations matters where necessary e.g. disciplinaries and grievances.

Managing contract changes for part-time and flexi-time working.

Assisting with re-organisations and re-structures.

Assisting with the compensation review.

Conducting Exit interviews and managing leaver administration.

ABCD input and recruitment invoice input.

Assist other team members when less busy by taking work, particularly in times of strong work flow and absences, to ensure that the work is fairly distributed.

AD hoc HR projects and duties as required. Ensuring adherence to policy, procedures and compliance.

The Successful Applicant

Strong experience in an HR role within a major international bank is desirable.

Proven track record of working in a dynamic and growing business.

Good experience of HR tasks and has the ability to easily understand the main risks and methods of risk mitigation for such tasks.

Credible working knowledge of UK employment law and practices is desirable.

Proactive and engaging approach to building stakeholder relationships at all levels.

Analytical thinking - comfortable in using and interpreting data and being able to translate the needs of the business into appropriate HR solutions.

Degree level education or equivalent professional qualifications.

High level of IT literacy in particular Excel.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal / teamwork skills.

While committing to the team objectives, demonstrate personal accountability for delivery of personal actions.

Highly disciplined person with ability to form and express well reasoned arguments and to influence senior management.

Ability to seek and respond to guidance from HR colleagues in order to steer the line in an appropriate manner.

Ability to work in a flexible and adaptable manner within a global organisation.

Possess and maintain up to date knowledge of key trends in the Human Resources market.

Flexibility to get involved in ad hoc projects and have an open mind and attitude for any problem solving and change.

Strong problem solving skills, combined with positive "can-do" attitude.

Demonstrable ambition and clear desire to contribute to both personal and Bank's growth & development.

Acts with highest standards of integrity and fairness to colleagues and clients.
