Job Description

As the The Key Account Manager - Technical Sales you will be required to:

  • Develop appropriate sales plans for prospective accounts
  • Achieve annual sales targets in terms of revenue, profit and units
  • Identifying, prospecting, pursuing and closing competitive strategic sales opportunities within prospective accounts
  • Build relationships with key people within client organisations to enable long-term links to be developed and repeat revenue secured.

The Successful Applicant

The Key Account Manager - Technical Sales must be able to work on their own initiative as the role will be home based. When out seeing clients you will cover the South East England territory.

Your skills and experience should include:

  • Direct sales experience within product support sales with a proven track record
  • Understanding of marketing principles, account planning and sales structure
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate internally at all levels
  • Industry and product knowledge is highly desirable

What's on Offer

The package on offer includes a basic salary of £35-40K, bonus (OTE £60-80K), car allowance and further company benefits.
