Job Description

The role of a Key Account Manager you will be responsible for working with some of their key accounts including Hamleys, Harrods and other leading retailers who sale their reputable toys. Working closely with and reporting to, The Head of Sales, you role will involve:

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of Key retail accounts in a profitable manner
  • Maximising distribution according to set targets by brand
  • Budgeting turnover by account to achieve set targets
  • Accurately forecasting and monitoring stock requirements
  • Planning and executing promotional activity to agreed financial budgets
  • Ensuring the best possible presentation of all brands at retail
  • Monitoring sell through data and recommending action where necessary
  • Identifying new areas of opportunity
  • Monitoring and reporting on competitor activity
  • Providing assistance with some major accounts (with a view to progression within the company)

The Successful Applicant

The Key Account Manager for this role will have the following attributes:

Passion for the Toy/Gaming industry with previous experience working within Sales/Buyer/ licensee Or dealing with similar retailers such as Hamleys, Harrods, Selfridges or High Street Retailers etc.

Able to demonstrate selling, analytical and organisational skills, together with a sound commercial awareness

Commutable to Greater West London
