Job Description

As a Key Account Manager your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Identifying and targeting revenue potential within your portfolio
  • Producing robust business plans that exceed sales and profit targets
  • Building a detailed understanding of the customers, markets and competitors
  • Maintaining accurate customer records
  • Building coalitions across the business to support the delivery of sales targets

The Successful Applicant

As a Key Account Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Ability to develop a good working relationship with customers to enhance customer satisfaction and customer retention
  • Strong customer facing experience and understanding of their needs and requirements
  • Some experience in Value or consultative-based field sales, handling customer accounts
  • Experience interfacing with other senior managers among others to determine the best range of goods to offer but also to develop together sales strategies and targets
  • Ability to plan and implement a long term commercial agreements
  • Exposure to compiling and analysis sales figures and undertaking market researches
  • Experience producing sales reporting to senior management
  • Experience in market intelligence keeping up to date about products, market trends and competitors
  • Strong communication skills
  • Creative and critical thinking skills
  • Highly motivated by success.
