About Our Client

My client are a ambitious consumer brand who have range of products across 4/5 categories. They have a range of heritage brands and new NPD continuing to hit the UK and International retailer markets.

The commercial structure is a sizable and across the Sales/ Marketing/ Procurement and Fiance teams there is a strong collaborative working relationships, all with the outcome of doing what is right for the consumer and retailers.

Job Description

The role of the Key Account Manager is to continue the growth and development of the channel, either working with an Account Director or Channel leader. The KAM/NAM will be tasked with the following:

  • Day to Day contact with the Accounts
  • Profit & Loss and Joint Business Plan accountable
  • Lead on commercial negotiation's
  • Take the lead role on the Internal Account Team - Category, Sales, Shopper Marketing and Finance.
  • Targeted to lead the business to lead supplier with the category.

The Successful Applicant

Applicants will need to demonstrate career progression within the Consumer or FMCG sector to date, whilst also demoing the below requirements.

  • University Degree as a minimum education level
  • Able to travel to Heathrow region daily.
  • Accountable experience within the FMCG sectors or relevant channels.
  • Experience of working with buyers within the retail consumer channels.
  • Proven track record of identifying opportunities, winning new business and delivering NPD and Cost price increases.
  • A 'Can do' attitude - proactive, enthusiastic and assertive.

What's on Offer

£30-38k Salary depending on experience, Car or Car Allowance - Bonus. Fast track progression through National Accounts is on offer to top performing candidates.
