About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider of Telematics, security and safety solutions for the automotive and insurance industries. The organisation is a partner to commercial vehicle and motorcycle manufacturers, developing bespoke solutions for both factory and aftermarket installation.

Job Description

The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing key existing relationships and the regular introduction of new accounts.

The successful candidate will manage communications for new product launches to franchised dealers, support and organising technical and sales training activities for the dealer network.

This role requires the Key Account Manager to communicate key product USPs to target customers, maintain and develop existing aftermarket customers through planned individual account support and product demonstrations.

This role demands exceptions, interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills with the ability to delivery high quality output, which demonstrates the ability to understand and achieve results within the context of the Telematics solutions sector.

This role is field based, and covers the South of the UK.

The Successful Applicant

The Key Account Manager will:

Have demonstrable success at managing a sales pipeline to enhance revenue and gross margin

Have the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate successfully with corporate officials, senior managers and any other business stakeholders

Have excellent communication skills

Have excellent presentation skills

A background in automotive insurance, or automotive security would be advantageous

Be IT literate
