Job Description

As Key Account Manager across Wales you will have the following responsibilities;

  • To build strong customer relationships with all decision- makers within the defined account base.
  • To support the new business associates on pre-engagement for prospective customers, as well as the implementation of new business to high levels of compliance.
  • To achieve all sales targets.
  • To maximise the profitability of the customer portfolio.
  • To develop customer agreed business plans to maximise growth opportunities and to increase profitability within all accounts allocated.
  • To identify and optimise opportunities to deliver new business within existing accounts.
  • To prepare and submit tenders for the supply of products and services. You will also work closely with the internal tendering to ensure all accounts are retained through tendering period.

The Successful Applicant

  • A demonstrable track record within corporate Sales.
  • A background in managing large public sector accounts.
  • An understanding of Public Sector framework.
  • A complete understanding of the sales cycle in a Public Sector organisation and key decision makers.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial and commercially astute.
  • Exceptional organisational and planning skills.
  • Ability to analyse management information.

£30,000 - £35,000 + 35% (Guaranteed bonus for the first 3 months of 17.5%)
