My Client operates in the Drainage Industry.

Job Description

The role will require travel throughout the territory in order to successfully secure new business whilst managing and further developing any existing business within the company's current client base in the region.

The Key Account Manager will be able to utilise their understanding of the B2B market and of their commercial network and relationships to create new account leads and ultimately work to secure those accounts. The Business Development Executive will be able to work autonomously and will also be responsible for identifying and exploring the opportunity to develop new business with existing accounts within the region. Key Elements: To secure new business and broaden the client base, whilst maintaining solid relationships with existing and potential customers. Achieve set targets of sales, and help increase the company's profile in the market place. Through an excellent work ethic and strong performance, the Key Account Manager will ensure that the short, medium and long term divisional growth aims are achieved and to ensure the high standing and reputation of the company with its existing and potential customers.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have the following demonstrable skills:

  • Proven track record in business development of new business and existing accounts within a B2B field sales environment.
  • Must have worked in an Industrial sector, ideally drainage or waste background
  • Exceptional communication skills; verbal, written and listening.
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to understand and interpret data.
  • Creative thinker and a proactive approach with ability to translate into deliverables and outcomes.
  • Ability to manage different approaches and actions with a strong performance drive for success in a fast-paced setting.
  • A motivated, professional and enthusiastic approach to business development is a pre-requisite.
  • You're competitive, but you never sacrifice integrity to win business.
  • A strong work ethic without sacrificing your ability to have enjoyment on the job.
  • Full UK driving licence with experience of managing a large geographical area.

The Successful Candidate will benefit from the following package:

£35,000 - £45,000 Basic Salary
