About Our Client

My client is a well-established supplier of roofing products with numerous branches based around the country. Having experienced a large amount of growth in recent months they are now looking at expanding their sales team exponentially.

Job Description

This role will see you liaising with Merchants and Contractors who are based within a defined territory. You will be required to do the following:

  • Maintaining and managing relationships with Builders Merchants and Contractors within Peterborough, Northampton and Milton Keynes (90%)

  • Establishing new relationships with the above customers (10%)

  • Identifying new business opportunities with new and existing customers

  • Providing pricing and quotations to customers

  • Achieving and exceeding KPIs and targets for account growth

The Successful Applicant

This role is a crucial part of enabling my client to maintain relationships with their biggest customers. In order to be successfully appointed for this role you will need to possess the following criteria:

  • A proven track record in Key Account Management with Contractors and Builders Merchants

  • Strong rapport building skills

  • Also able to build relationships from-scratch

  • An excellent understanding of the Building & Construction industry

  • A background in the roofing industry is highly desirable

  • Living in the East Midlands
