About Our Client

Our client, based in the local area of Ringwood, is looking for a Land Manager with a good working knowledge of the due diligence process. You should be coming from a successful career within the Building and Construction industry and be able to show good examples of sites acquired as well as processes driven forward.

The client is a fantastic SME developer looking to expand their business and currently have a large number of opportunities for new sites and require the due diligence process to be completed.

The business is a family run company with a collaborative approach across the business. As part of the land team you may also have interactions with the Technical and Customer Service teams.

Job Description

The selected individual for the Land Manager - Growing SME Residential Developer - role will be required to work in an office based position within the Ringwood, Hampshire area.

The role will be part of a small Land team, working alongside the current members of the team to complete the due diligence process on a number of sites. These sites will be ranging in value and could be any size up to and in some cases exceeding 150 acres.

You will be expected to liaise with clients, solicitors and consultants regularly, potentially chasing some of these along the way.

Planning experience is not essential but will be an advantage in the process if you already have experience in this area.

If you are able to show a good level of experience and understanding of the land acquisition process it will be likely you will be involved in this process for the client further into the role.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Land Manager - Growing SME Residential Developer will come from a background working within the UK residential development market.

Previous experience within land acquisitions and in particular due diligence is required for the role.

Planning experience will be an advantage but will not be essential.

The right candidate for this role should be a self-starter and have a desire to help build the business. The right candidate should also be looking at this position as a potential permanent role and not just a contract position.

You should be professional but still easy going and willing to help out in a busy and cosy office.
