Lean Six Sigma Programme Manager - Havant

As a Programme Manager, you will report to the Programme Director and be responsible for recruiting, leading, managing and developing staff within multiple project teams on major high risk and complex customer experience projects or programmes. You will be accountable for identifying key competencies required to perform staff roles, using available resources to ensure that the right people are in the right positions.

You will provide direction and delegate clear responsibility to staff; whilst defining ownership and accountability of tasks, from design and development through to production, defining requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment. You will take responsibility for the quality assurance and overall integrity of the programme, ensuring new products and/or services are delivered on time and within budget. Acting as a communication conduit to executive sponsors and the Programme Steering Committee will be crucial to this role, as you will be expected to provide them with regular updates and progress reports, ensuring transparency, consistency and ultimate delivery of the overall program.

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in lifecycle and customer experience transformation in a high volume industry, with the ability to coordinate and consolidate the delivery of multi million large scale change programmes and transformation projects simultaneously using Six Sigma Lean Methodologies. You will have a comprehensive background of leading and delivering Continuous Improvement, with the ability to deliver change within a regulated and non regulated environment. A Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma is advantageous, but more importantly you will have a solid background of business improvement change with an excellent understanding and proven success of using implementation methodologies along with the principles and tools of Lean Six Sigma.

You will posses excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling collaborative partnering throughout the business, as well as managing 3rd parties/Systems Integrator (SI) as required. You will use your experience and expertise to innovate, challenge assumptions when necessary and Identify alternative solutions to problems, selecting those that most effectively support the program's goals and strategy. You will drive a can do culture within the program.

You will be resilient by nature with a strong character and excellent leadership experience, with an emphasis on teamwork having previously motivated staff to create a high-performance environment. Your attention to detail and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will all prove invaluable. You are driven to become a positive contributor to the vision and your willingness to support and actively promote core values will help to ensure your success in this role. Flexibility is a key requirement of this position as you will be expected to travel throughout the UK and Ireland as part of this project.
