Job Description

A national Charity based in London is looking for a Legacy Manager to implement legacy activity programmes whilst developing a long term legacy marketing strategy. Within this varied role you will:

  • Develop a five year strategy that will incorporate both the stewardship of legacy donors and the recruitment of new pledgers
  • Create and deliver a segmented supporter stewardship and communications programme, which will be integrated into the organisation's wider communications to maintain a consistent profile and maximise retention
  • Work with the relevant stakeholders to develop a legacy acquisition programme
  • Assist with the creation of high calibre events that support the legacy strategy
  • Manage long term relationships with key legacy supporters to provide personal stewardship and ensure opportunities to develop relationships are maximised
  • Manage the legacy team and support the work of the management team to ensure a fully integrated fundraising strategy

The Successful Applicant

The Legacy Manager will have demonstrable experience in legacy fundraising, including exposure to strategy development. The successful Legacy Manager will have experience of implementing legacy marketing programmes, be highly pro-active and have the ability to develop long lasting relationships both internally and externally.
