About Our Client

A market leading FMCG Manufacturer is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team at their site in Hull. This business is incredibly passionate about developing it's people and investing in the plant and process.

Job Description

Within your role as Maintenance Engineer you will carry out basic fault finding and planned preventative maintenance on the production line equipment to rectify any minor faults.

You will adhere to maintenance machinery schedule to ensure all issues and resolutions are fully documented at all times. At the end of each shift you will be responsible for completing the Engineering logbook to record any stock removed from the Engineering stores to ensure accurate stock control and audit ready

Communication is key, so you'll need to ensure you consult with the operations team to confirm they are fully aware of engineering activities and schedules.

The Successful Applicant

As a maintenance engineer, you will be a time served accredited apprentice (ideally electrical) or have equivalent experience with appropriate certification. You will have previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment and as such will bring with you an excellent understanding of the maintenance of Engineering Systems.
