Job Description

Day to day duties and core responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your portfolio and liaising with clients to meet thier expectations
  • Assisting with year end procedures and auditors
  • Support and oversee the accounts work of the rest of your team
  • Preparation and review of monthly journals; prepayments, accruals, salaries & depreciation
  • Completion of VAT reporting requirements and corporation tax
  • Preparation of cash flow forecasts

The Successful Applicant

The Successful candidate for this management accountant position should be have the following;

  • Full ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 3 years practical work experience in chartered accountancy firm
  • Experience of managing a team and be able to report direct to a partner when required
  • Support and develop team members in a constructive manner
  • Strong IT skills and sound knowledge of excel
  • Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail
  • Technical knowledge and an interest in developing the business
  • Be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Clear and concise communication skills
