Job Description

  • Responsible for producing the monthly management accounts, balance sheets and reconciliations ready for review with operations and Head of Finance, within the strict time lines set.
  • Responsible for delivering detailed rolling forecasts, annual budgets and cash flows ready for presentation to senior management.
  • Good close relationship with the operational and commercial teams, working and and supporting them where required.
  • Work closely with the finance manager deputizing in all areas as required.
  • Working alongside the finance manager to populate and present the forecast and annual budget submissions.
  • Working closely with the rest of the team to ensure accurate and timely billing and collection.
  • Provide costing and pricing models tot he operational and commercial teams, giving financial advice where and when required.
  • Providing accurate and timely business and financial information as required.
  • Monitoring, maintaining and improving internal controls and platforms in the business.
  • Being pro-active in identifying and implementing added value opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with first class academic passes
  • You must demonstrate strong financial control and balance sheet management and possess excellent communication skills to enable you to deal with all stakeholders within the business.
  • You must have the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Excellent Excel skills and data manipulation/analytical skills
  • SAP experience advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience of thinking around problems, identifying and then implementing solutions.
  • Ideally you will have line management experience, as you will work closely with other finance team members and other departments who are located around the country.
  • A self starter who is enthusiastic, organized and focused.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Willing to travel to locations in the UK.

What's on Offer

A daily rate between £250 and £450
