Job Description

The Management Accountant role will include the following responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management accounts, from journal posting to the analysis of the P&L. Review the accounts with the Financial Controller and have the ability to explain all the necessary variances. Contribute to the production of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets

Complete the Month end close process including updating the Flash v Actuals Summary schedules, completing Corporation Tax journals and reconciliations and submitting the accounts including the supporting Fixed Assets and Debtors schedules to Group Accounts.

Review and agree monthly Flash Revenue figures with relevant Senior Management and submitting results to Group Accounts.

Focus on the efficiency of the department actively looking to add value, highlights risks and contribute to training colleagues and sharing expertise.

The Successful Applicant

You will be a ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified accountant with experience within a corporate business. You will have strong systems knowledge and excel skills, as well as being able to understand complex data. You will be able to work with Senior Management to prioritise tasks and understand the business.
