Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists and supports the Marketing Operations Manager providing analysis and information on both a weekly, monthly and project basis including timely accurate analyses of all marketing lead sources to support future decisions
  • Gathers, interprets and manipulates data for the marketing team to help analyse effectiveness of marketing activity and campaigns in order to optimise performance and improve results.
  • Supports the Marketing/Digital team on analysis, projects and cover holidays and absence including Ad-Hoc support in all areas of the Marketing lead generation activities, including high quality and timely responses on:
      • Input to lead generator creative
      • Website updates
      • Customer letter production
      • Public Relations
      • Exhibition Support
      • Customer data input and checking
      • Data collation for direct mail campaign



  • Assists with preparation and planning of marketing activities, including list management, updates of monthly/annual planning documents and media schedules.
  • Checks the web site, PPC, SEO and other digit al activity daily, weekly, monthly to maximise communication opportunities for the brand.



  • Makes assessments of short-term advertising or data opportunities as requested
  • Responsible for ensuring all direct marketing codes and fulfilment are processed accurately and timely
  • Assists in managing exhibition equipment and supplies including purchase, maintenance, storage, and logistical requirements.
  • Co-ordination with Warehouse re: incoming marketing materials, ensuring relevant personnel are aware of quantities, codes and delivery dates.
  • Research and reporting on a wide variety of marketing opportunities and requests including ongoing research/competitor analysis and collation of competitor literature, materials, etc. with the marketing strategy team.

The Successful Applicant

Experience and Skills Required

  • Experience of working in an office environment (6 months + including summer jobs etc.)
  • Exposure to working in an organisational/administrative role or sales/marketing department desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communicator with a high standard of written English Language with focus on spelling, punctuation and grammar.
  • Highly computer literate with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills.
  • Strong team player
  • Confident, assertive and dynamic with good negotiation, collaboration and influencing skills
  • The ability to juggle priorities and the willingness to go the extra mile to meet tight deadlines
  • Motivated and enthusiastic, a self-starter with a passion for problem solving and a highly curious mind
