About Our Client

Our client is a global provider of IT Hardware/software with offices and a strong client base around the world. They have been operating in their market of over 20 years and have an excellent reputation. They are now looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team in St. Albans, Hertfordshire.

Job Description

The St. Albans based Marketing Manager will have a hands on approach to all aspects of marketing, including on and offline activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the day to day running of the team (2 people)
  • Identifying and implementing new marketing campaigns and strategies to aid with company growth
  • Analysing campaigns to measure success and areas for improvement
  • Overseeing the company's social media schedule
  • Writing and managing content for press releases, datasheets for events, product launches and company news, company blog and web pages
  • All email based marketing material
  • Reviewing our website traffic and implementing strategies to improve organise Google rankings
  • Implementing SEO campaigns using Google AdWords to improve awareness for current campaigns
  • Overseeing the various design elements; exhibition stand design, datasheet design, brochure design
  • Liaising with the print and online media in order to generate positive news and reviews
  • Overseeing the organisation of trade shows and internal/external events
  • Managing campaigns alongside our vendors to promote events, competitions and new products
  • Working alongside the sales team in order to maximise and capitalise on lead generation. This includes implementing lead generation based campaigns and working with the team to ensure a positive ROI

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Marketing Manager will ideally have come from an IT/Technology background, however a B2B Marketing track record would also work well as long as there is interest/knowledge in the sector. As there is currently 2 direct reports, the ideal candidate will have managed a team in their previous role. As the business operates on a global scale, ad hoc travel will be required within the UK & Europe.

What's on Offer

The St. Albans based Marketing Manager can expect a basic salary between £35,000 and £45,000 depending on background/track record.
