Job Description



Essentially this role is about having a point of view; an opinion and being able to talk about it and give it an angle. It's working for a multi award winning independent agency in West Yorkshire who do more than make pretty pictures; they tell a story; a compelling one.
Your role is to sit in the middle of this story telling and tell the world about the agency, but in a fun, engaging variety of different ways.
Your mix of humour and commercial acumen will mean you'll find an angle to hit the right audience with the right media at the right time. You need to monetise the agencies activity with continuous commentary about business wins; recent pieces of work; awards as well as representing the voice of the board and their thoughts on the market.
As a digital and social pioneer you'll blog, tweet and have a voracious appetite for finding, writing and talking about content and making it fit for purpose. You'll see or hear things that others don't and have a knack for turning it into a talking point for the retail and consumer world.
You must love understanding how consumers behave and how brands influence that behaviour.

The Successful Applicant

As the marketing manager for this West Yorkshire agency you'll be a writer, a marketer, a social media pioneer and a new business guru all rolled into one.
