Job Description

The Marketing Manager will successfully build, develop and promote the firm's business in close partnership with the Managing Partner and Chairman by providing sound, innovative, strategic leadership and initiatives on marketing. You will develop and maintain a full understanding of the market for legal and associated services and the threats/opportunities. It will be your responsibility to develop and implement strategic plans and set goals to achieve effective growth of opportunities within the legal and associated services market. You will support and encourage effective engagement by key marketeers across the firm and identify opportunities for exposure to new businesses. In addition you will direct, develop, document and deliver appropriate Marketing strategic plans and goals setting out clear, measurable costed objectives and time frames for key strategy areas. You will focus marketing resources on ensuring market differentiation and building on areas that are currently successful but could be developed further. You will ensure effective day to day management and development of the Marketing Team in order to maximise personal capability by the effective use of the members of the Team and to obtain excellent contribution from the team members to build a strategically focused team that can identify potential new business opportunities. You must oversee organisation of day to day marketing activities such as events; support to tenders; publications; e-marketing; mailshots, and other routine marketing tasks. You will be responsible for providing clear directions on ongoing marketing and development of all websites to increase visitors across all sites. Ensure content is kept up to date by team for relevance and search optimisation.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have experience in strategic marketing, the ability to effectively develop, motivate and manage a team, event organisation and management skills and the ability to effectively delegate and manage work priorities. You must be IT literate and be able to use social media, have excellent time management skills and have the ability to work under pressure.
