About Our Client

This client is a successful, fast growing company supplying the Tattoo, Veterinary, and Medical markets, whilst also recently entering the Beauty market. With tremendous growth, particularly through digital and International tattoo product sales, they are now looking for a new recruit to lead all Marketing activities for the business.

Job Description

The Marketing Manager will provide the strategy, planning and implementation of all marketing activities through both online and offline channels. This also includes management of website product administration, utilising the support of a Web Executive. Supporting both the UK and International areas of the business.

Your key responsibilities would be as follows:

  • Creation and ownership of marketing plan, ensuring delivery of plan on time and to budget
  • Management of website content and website selling approach - sort orders, cross sales, etc.
  • Planning and delivery of online marketing including email programme and website banners
  • Planning and delivery of offline marketing activities including catalogues, brochures, reactivation letters, etc
  • Management of external design agencies and printers to ensure material is delivered on time and to budget.
  • Management of digital marketing agencies focused upon PPC, SEO and social marketing
  • Measurement of all marketing campaigns, optimising investment to increase effectiveness
  • Co-ordination of European marketing activities working closely with English speaking Agents in 5 key countries
  • Development of marketing literature, including special offers, promotions, brochures, etc.
  • Production of professional content in house where possible
  • Copy writing and proof reading of all marketing material
  • Co-ordination and attendance at trade conventions, exhibitions and seminars
  • Future development of CRM programme using segmentation and creating more targeted campaigns

The Successful Applicant

The successful Marketing Manager candidate will have the following key attributes and skill set:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience working within marketing
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Bright and outgoing individual looking to get involved in a fast paced creative industry
  • Experience of targeted / segmented marketing campaigns
  • Experience of website management
  • Experience of product based marketing
  • Ideally having experience from a high product volume, transactional business
  • A good all round marketer
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a good team player
  • Must be able to mix strategy, planning and hands on delivery
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Adwords, PPC and SEO
  • Offline marketing experience - Catalogues, brochures, DM
  • Understanding of ecommerce platform Magento desirable
  • Adobe Photoshop experience desirable
  • In Design experience desirable
  • Mailchimp experience desirable
  • Great attention to detail with excellent literacy skills
  • Excellent communicator
  • Must be proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Customer focused with an innovative and proactive approach
