My client is a UK heritage brand who operate in several markets - this position sits within their hospitality services division. With over 100 years of experience they are the 'go to' company for recommendations, advice, consulting and training in the hotel and hospitality market.

Job Description

The successful Marketing Manager will be responsible for:

  • Creating and implementing marketing strategy and event plans
  • Reviewing pricing structures on a regular basis
  • Suggesting new options based on robust market research and cost benefit analysis
  • Ensuring all major products have up-to-date product plans that include revenue targets
  • Identifying opportunities for achieving cost savings and efficiencies across the Marketing function
  • Managing pipeline and providing regular reviews and MI; identifying trends, determining improvements and implementing change
  • Reviewing and updating Hotel & Hospitality Services value propositions to its customers; seeking new initiatives to enhance the business and identifying opportunities to grow revenue
  • Ensuring all media collateral is of a high standard and reflects brand guidelines
  • Managing the relationship with all B2B partners/sponsors/trade associations and ensuring internal and external customers receive the same high level of customer service
  • Developing an in depth understanding of products and services offered
  • Knowledge of competitor products in order to help sell and compare our products and services

The Successful Applicant

The successful Marketing Manager will be have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of the hospitality industry as well as extensive networking skills
  • A proven track record of delivering effective commercial campaigns and results
  • Experience of managing multiple B2B customers
  • Proficient skill in all MS office applications
  • Experience of various communication channels, including social media
  • Data analysis and report creation skills
