Job Description

Reporting directly to the Corporate Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of innovative and effective marketing planning and activity to achieve business objectives.

To oversee the delivery of marketing projects, working with internal clients and external suppliers as necessary.

  • Deliver a full service marketing solution to designated internal clients, planning and delivering marketing campaigns and projects which help our curriculum areas achieve their targets and objectives and promote a positive learner experience for students.
  • Deliver effective online marketing campaigns using the full spectrum of tools and tactics available to us, including social media advertising, PPC, email marketing and database/CRM marketing.
  • Support the development and implementation of a Marketing and Communications Service that delivers excellence to all our customers, playing a lead role in promoting an excellent reputation for ncn and the team, helping to forge new relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with colleagues within the Marketing, PR and Communications team to champion the brand, deliver marketing campaigns that promote the college's aspirations and deliver innovative marketing solutions to challenges, making best use of the opportunities that are presented to us along the way.
  • Deliver excellent internal customer service to our clients, meeting them regularly and liaising proactively to respond to changing business needs.

  • Adopt the team's ethic of supporting all team members, including trainees and apprentices within the team to develop and grow,
  • Support the planning and organising of events in collaboration with the marketing team and other colleagues ensuring value for money and adopting innovative techniques to deliver cost neutral or profit making activity where relevant.
  • Seek out new opportunities for income generation and increased efficiencies in service provision.
  • Measure and monitor campaigns to ensure that Return on Marketing Investment is achieved and presented to key stakeholders as required.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and other Marketing and Communications colleagues to deliver a full, integrated marketing and communications service to internal clients, including events, promotional print, e-marketing, PR, outdoor advertising and website development.
  • Collaborate with all safeguarding leads to ensure that safeguarding is promoted and maintained as a priority and all staff are aware of their responsibilities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience of driving innovative marketing and communications campaigns to a wide variety of audiences
  • Proven experience of working with internal and external clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives
  • Experience of delivering innovative ideas to generate income or increased return on investment
  • Experience of working on your own or within a team, using initiative and flair to get things done and drawing on people skills and diplomacy to manage tasks and relationships
  • Experience and knowledge of electronic and web based marketing and demonstrating success in building brand presence online.

What's on Offer

Fixed term contract until July 2016 with the potential to extend.
