About Our Client
My client operate within the Not for Profit and Charities space. Based in London, my client are very highly regarded within their field and are the go to organisation within which it operates.
My client boasts over 15,000 members whom they have recruited and trained within their field. The organisation provide numerous products and services. This includes CPD Courses, Qualifications, Examinations, Training Modules, Webinars and other learning products, as well as providing large events within its area of operation.
The successful Membership Engagement Manager will be required to:
By meeting with and speaking to stakeholder groups, really get to understand who the members are, why they are members and their general needs.
Create a strategy with fellow internal Senior Management that supports members throughout their career/membership journey.
Ensure that said strategy focuses around recruitment, retention, communications and general membership engagement through numerous channels on and offline.
Champion the use of a newly installed customer relationship management system to govern and assess how members are being communicated to, and how they are reacting to certain types of comms'.
Using numerous types of research, gain an insight into how the organisation is viewed externally, and work on membership services/products accordingly.
Liaise with Policy, Public Affairs and Communications to ensure the company are aware of and understand the sectors changes, activities, and concerns.
Develop Membership categories and stakeholder groups to ensure more consistant messaging and general relevant engagement
The Successful Applicant
The ideal Membership Engagement Manager will have:
A minimum of 3 years experience working within a membership/marketing set-up
Must have line management responsibility
Ideally have a successful track record of developing and delivering member/customer
Must have experience of managing a membership and/or marketing/subscription function
Ability to work effectively with other departments and teams
A track record of managing budgets
