Job Description

MI Data Analyst will;

  • help to embed the new designed MI reports, producing the agreed regular reports and MI packs. As part of this role, supported by the team administrator, they will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the operational information required to produce the MI reports.

As part of their role they will help to identify good practice, trends and escalate issues as they arise, providing clear recommendations for change. They will also be integral in maintaining the agreed operational frameworks that support better planning, prioritisation and resource management within Authorisations.

  • Maintain agreed risk governance framework (horizon scanning);
  • Maintain display of planned activity (Milestone planner);
  • Maintain planning tool / templates; and
  • Provide overview of recruitment position (headcount / budget report) to Authorisations teams (co-ordinate tracking of headcount and budget and provide advice / guidance on recruitment).

They will undertake system testing co-ordination and performance of testing, monitor delivery of on-going business plan milestones and escalating relevant risks and issues as well as maintaining the training framework which will include identifying requirements, producing templates to capture relevant materials, establishing a platform to hold up to date materials and providing on-going quality review and maintenance

The Successful Applicant

MI Data Analyst must show;

  • They can proactively assess workloads, effectively prioritise actions required and identify issues, provide solutions and influence required outcomes. They can flexibly manage competing demands with support from management.
  • Supports decision making through provision of appropriate recommendations.
  • Escalates appropriately and is able to assess and judge operational risk, where necessary providing appropriate challenge.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.With appropriate support Is able to grasp technical concepts and translate these into operationally viable solutions for the business;
  • Experience of supporting on small projects / initiatives;
  • Desirable to have expert computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases;

· Excellent presentation skills.
