Job Description

Using a pragmatic yet commercial approach to issue resolution, and ensuring excellent customer service levels are maintained at all times, you will be expected to manage all activities within the assigned portfolio to meet profit and service objectives, developing longer term potential through effective client relationship management and improved customer service and staff leadership.

Reporting to the FM Account Manager your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Regular on site reviews with the Account Manager
  • Management of all Facilities Including the planning and deployment of resources
  • Responsibility for service delivery and management of services provided by internal and external contractors
  • Identify opportunities for Cost Savings and Added Value Opportunities to enhance service delivery to customer
  • To manage labour and subcontractor budgets for designated portfolio
  • Ensure delivery of M&E, Security and Cleaning Services in Scope for Contracted Sites
  • Ensure all scheduled PPMS are completed in line with the site PPM planner
  • Carry out regular on site client review meetings to review KPI performance and ensure resolution of any site specific issues/projects
  • Identify risks and recommendations to Customer for Critical Plant/Kit
  • Resolve Issues that arise in all TFM activities and update customer on resolution and action plans
  • Meet with Customers Health and Safety Team to discuss issues, SPOT 5's and identify joint ventures
  • Complete Quality Audit Checks in line with Quality Policy and implement actions plans on corrective actions
  • To conduct regular one to one meetings with resident team members and to support and complete annual appraisals and development plans
  • Manage all Disciplinary and Performance issues

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this role you must possess:

  • A sound understanding of the property industry and how buildings work including technical services
  • Contract knowledge and standards and the ability to read and understand contractual obligations and resolve scoping issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to provide advice, help and support to on site customer teams
  • Ability to influence others through collaboration to achieve results
  • Demonstrate proven customer focus and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage minor projects and works as required
  • Previous experience in an FM role, including experience of working with building services and cleaning self-delivery
  • IOSH including actual experience or recognised qualification associated with health and safety, NEBOSH is desirable
