The client is a market leading brand in the FMCG sector who pride themselves on their Quality, Integrity and the Service they provide. The client is looking to expand its Engineering team and improve their current work force.

Job Description

Key responsibilities will include:

- Delivering effective Maintenance and line improvements.

- Continuously improving and repairing equipment.

- Deliver both effecting proactive maintenance as well as reactive maintenance.

- To ensure the achievement of engineering Key Performance Indicators, targets.

- You will seek out and implement improvements to reduce the level of breakdowns experienced, in line with the companies continuous improvement methodologies.

- Ensuring the correct completion of appropriate documentation and reporting to all levels of the organization will also be part of your role.

- Training other members of staff to ensure skills are transferred across all operations.

The Successful Applicant

- A proven track record of working safely and competently as part of a team

- Experience of working within a FMCG environment preferably within the food industry.

-The ability to fault find on electrical/pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

- You will also have a working knowledge of PLC operated equipment with the skills to maintain and monitor.

- Familiarity with 5S and LEAN working methodologies.

- To be tenacious and have the ability to cope under pressure

What's on Offer

Circa £35000 dependent on experience.
