MY client is a unique organisation that has grown from a small head count/ turnover business 10 years ago to over 250 staff and a considerable increase on their P&L.

They have a range of products in the consumer space, ranging from highly recognisable brands and tailored OEM ranges for key retailers including John Lewis and Tesco.

They are a South Coast based organisation that has a good balance between, commercial outputs, creative working environment, work life balance and reward and recognition.

Job Description

The National Account Controller will work closely with the Sales Director, as a number 2 in charge with the future aims to take on a more senior lead within the organisation.

The role you will be joining to do, will be the lead contact on the most profitable channel, you will be tasked to take the current team of 9 NAM's/ Support staff to over 12 in the next 6 months. The channel consists currently of 3/4 key retailer clients, which you will have full category control, there are also 2 additional target accounts that currently do not stock products.

The Successful Applicant

Candidates applying for this role need to have a proven back ground in leading and aspiring the team around them for either a FMCG /Consumer or Commercial business. You will have to have experience of managing leading retailers, etailers, grocers of operator retailers. My client is looking for someone that can help develop operational excellence, continue growth within channel and demonstrate creative marketing/Sales initiatives.

The positions is office based from the South Coast HQ, with the rest of the team.

You will need to be comfortable with P&L negotiation, pulling together multi category JBP's and working with the wider business (brand, product, finance and operations).
